Choi Ye Na is a Yuehua Entertainment trainee and a member of the Japanese-Korean idol group IZ*ONE. She participated in the survival show "Produce 48" (2018) ranking 4th, making it in the final lineup of IZ*ONE. She made her TV show debut in the variety series "Prison Life of Fools" (2019) and is part of the regular cast in the variety show "Girls' High School Mystery Class" (2021). In 2021 Yena won the "Brand Customer Loyalty Awards Daesang" as "Influential Entertainment Idol."

IZ*ONE officially disbanded on April 29th, 2021.

Her brother, Choi Sung Min, is a former member of idol groups SPEED and Co-Ed School.

She debuted solo on January 17th, 2022 with the mini album “ˣ‿ˣ (SMiLEY)”.
